Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have a small ginger tom curled up on my lap. Nora's right. It's very therapeutic.

One thing I hate about feeling this tired is that one of my primary PMS symptoms comes raging up even though it is the wrong time. Paranoia is not fun at all. What makes it especially not fun is that I feel like I can't post about what's running through my mind without it coming across as so manipulative that any reassurance I receive will feel fakey-fake.

Kashi puffs: Barb, I hope the reaction of the parental units abates somewhat, and that what they are feeling now doesn't take any of the shine off the excitement of AWESOME! NEW! HOUSE!

Our wings are not tired.

gives Anne's brain a stern look. Seriously brain, you are surrounded by such shiny hair and beautiful face, behave yourself! Let the girl get some peaceful rest.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I've been having a day full of feeling of Impending Doom. No particular reason, no hitches, just waiting on underwriter approval...but i'm still feeling lots of gloom and depair today. Can i get some house~ma just in case the lender is considering breaking my heart?

I have appointments with four contractors tomorrow to get estimates on bathroom redo. Maybe it's the looming dread of 8k quotes that have me wanting to hide under the covers?

Many congrats to Barb on the house, it indeed looks like a very wonderful place to be able to call home!

I'm willing to Pimp Oregon to anyone willing to brave our job market :)

Much ~ma to you, e_o.

Laura, thank you. I'm going to try that Ambien now and see if it lets me get a solid eight hours of uninterrupted sleep.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was looking at collars on eBay, and oh my god, this one is SO cool (not, IMO, "bondage-y" at all): [link]

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sleep well, Anne.

Very cool, Teppy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, that is awesome!

How often do you get up to Columbus? Because The Chamber has some decent products. Plus you can try stuff on, which is helpful. The staff there is wonderful, too.

Not often enough -- I've heard good things about The Chamber, but I've never been there. Columbus has a lot of stuff going on, including some big weekend-long events with ~300 attendees (which gives me serious Too Many People heebie-jeebies).
