And, damn, prices do seem to be slowly crawling downward. Not that we'll ever be able to afford my dream, a 3BR. Those are ludicrously priced, without exception. (no, I lied; there are exceptions, they're just out by the beach, which would add at least a half hour to everyone's commute on a good day).

Yikes, that first 1BR is over twice my mortgage payment.

For context, that's a 3BR, 2BA house with two car Garage on 1/2 acre of land with a 15 year note.
