[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Barb!!!!!! I am SO thrilled for you, and more than a little jealous of the sheer awesomeness of that house. I can't wait to visit you there!!! So dare I ask when you will be moving to our fine left coast?

Also, thanks for all the reassurance, all. We had a nice piece of wedding luck tonight. Drew found his wedding band, and it rocks. It's black tungsten with a laser engraved Celtic dragon knot. They don't make it in my size, alas, but they're going to price what it would cost to engrave something similar into a white gold band for me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats, Barb! I'm very happy for you.

And, ftr, I don't have bridesmaids since we are doing a wedding for two, but I totally want them now just to dress them in chartreuse plaid.

That is an amazing kitchen.

Yay, Barb! That's a kitchen to savor, I wish you many scrumptious meals made there.

“Not dead yet!”

Hee! Cackling over chartreuse plaid bridesmaids dresses! I love it!

I'm still in shock, y'all. Not just that we got the house, but you know, all things considered, it's such an amazing house for the price we got. We looked at things that were frankly, out of our price range and shocked that they weren't anywhere near as nice as this one. So the house gods were looking out for us, for sure.

As far as when we're moving, After the first of the year. We're going to let Abby finish her first semester of sixth grade and then plan to move. As soon as we're all moved in and settled and comfy, I wanna throw a housewarming bash sometime in the spring.

Plei, I'm going to need your help learning how not to kill the herb garden I'm inheriting.
