Whew. Finally caught up.
Thanks for the -ma wishes for my neighbor/landlord. He's a bit of a loon, but he keeps to himself, and out of my business, as much as possible.
No update, yet. I'm not sure if the fact that they moved him from Salem to Boston is a good sign or a bad (which they did Saturday night, before I knew anything about this). Head trauma is usually never good, though.
Now to go back and read about Nora and Tom's restaurant adventures.
Aw man, Scrappy's being our conscience.
And it's been noted that she's wise.
God give me strength.
Yep. It's hard to get a good mock-on when you're feeling weak.
Yes, this. But I'd like to send your aunt a "Thanks for making my life harder, asshole," candygram. Because everyone has that story, and that relative, and that's why state agencies crawl up my ass with a toothbrush and why government programs are such a rough sell around here. Grr. Argh.
Yeah, I know. I only mention her when they're being a-holes about the "welfare queens" or whatever to acknowledge that yes, there are cheaters out there, it's not that I'm naive, I know there are people gaming the system. But there are also people working their everloving asses off who could just use a hand ("Not a handout"
tm).
Believe me, when we heard this story from Aunt Dawn, Mom & I didn't take it well, either.

Is this really a mullet? Thought mullet equal's "business in front, party in back". This seems to lack "business in front".
Heh. Tried to check Typo's link and it's blocked. The reason listed? "Tasteless". That's some sophisticated/snobby software we've got, huh?
Happy Birthday Calli!
Happy Birthday Burrell!
My feeling is of course there are cheaters, but If everyone was going through the same single payer plan - it would be a lot hard to cheat, because everyone would be getting it
did "eye" used to rhyme with "symmetry"?
