Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

In my poor mother's defense, she's just called me (from the bathroom of the mall they're in - only place she can get away from my grandmother!) to apologise for all the pressure. Apparently it's being exerted from my grandmother's side, and she's making my mother fill her 48 hours in London with a ridiculously packed schedule. Crazy.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

OK, somebody should tell Mother Nature it's the end of freaking October here. For the next few days it'll be 95-105F degrees (35-40C) here.

Where do I file a complaint?

If I could send you the snow, I would.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Trust my rage

Home with Frisco today. He has a fever of 101. It's weird; he's acting way more sleepy and clingy than I would expect for a cough and fever.

“Not dead yet!”

Our heat wave has finally broken. We've got a high of 80F and raining today and tomorrow it's going to be 71 and sunny.

Sorry, Jacksonville, you still won't seduce me into staying. I know you're just toying with me.

Steph, hope Frisco feels better.

Yeah, The Girl just rang me from Tel Aviv airport going "WTF? I brought sweaters!" So that's going to go well.

I'm watching an episode of the Dr Oz Show that did a special free clinic for the day, and it is breaking my heart. 80% of the people who showed up have jobs but no insurance.
