Yeeeah, I'm about to spend over a hundred dollars at my comic book store since they're having a sale. I'm not sure whether that is wise, but I figure my finances will deal...somehow.

t edit I should say, the rationalization has nothing to do with my budget -- I keep my shopping within the limits of what I can pay cash/debit for -- the rationalization has to do with the low-impact effort that smonster is talking about.

Heh. I hear you Smonster. When the total added up at nordstrom, even knowing some of it wasn't mine, it was still a lot. But I'm wearing my new boots today, and they're super comfy. I'm just not looking forward to the next few credit card bills, since I'm taking four trips involving hotel and or airfare (including thanksgiving and Christmas but still, it's going to be huge)

I tried to rationalize by guessing that the value of the comics I have read off the shelves without buying has not yet been surpassed by the amount of money I have spent there so far. I'm not sure how accurate my estimate is, though. And I'm going to be spending another $25 after the sale when Kabuki: The Alchemy comes out. But they are my comic book store and they make me happy on a weekly basis, so they can have my money.

Eeeeexcellent. One of my other justifications is that my recent onset of plantar fascitis means that I need to cut down on heel-wearing as much as possible.

And in a hilarious coincidence, I just now found out that all local mall is getting an H&M. I am SCREWED.
