But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've never done a buzz cut. Every now and again I try a pixie cut, and every time I hate it. I don't know why I keep going back to it, except they look so cute, ya know? Just not on me.

“Not dead yet!”

I did my one experiment with short hair last year with my angled bob. It looked good and I liked it, but I am inherently lazy and hate having to go to the stylist every four weeks to keep it looking nice.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So I should make cocoa, right? That's the logical answer?

Yes. Hummingbirds love hot cocoa.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, what's the first thing that comes to people's minds for a knife thrower's assistant's costume?

But it's an excuse to let them pamper you! I'm a sucker for a good shampoo, I'll fall asleep in the chair on them if they're not careful. And my daughter gives an excellent scalp massage as part of the shampoo. I am, however, all about the easy maintenance hairstyles. Very short, where I can wash and wear, or very long where I can throw it up in a pony, braid or chignon, so I can understand your desire for low maintenance.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Poor Emeline. I hope her virus clears up quickly. Owen's hung around for a week or better and it sucked ass. My MiL emailed me this morning asking about the kids' flu vaccines (which I haven't considered at this point but need to). Gah.

Aims, the olfactory bulb is in the area of the brain that deals with memory and also tranmits information to the amygdala, which processes both memory and emotional responses. In other words, it's totally reasonable to react to smells with some strong emotions.

Liv acted like a heathen in Wal-Mart today. Which makes the Wal-Mart experience just that much better. I should KNOW better than to walk in there shopping for cheap Halloween decorations. I just should know better.
