Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Well, wear the bloody cologne. And then I'll kiss the beejebees out of you.

Fine. I'll see if the cologne stink will push through the smell of children's ibuprofen, cough medicine and scrambled eggs. You know, the auditory detritus of taking care of our child.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is a pencil skirt like a hobble skirt?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

my first instinct was to grab him and kiss the beejebees out of him.

Smell is a strange, strange thing. Like when some guy you think is hot uses the same aftershave as your grandfather and suddenly Ick and Attraction are playing Twister in your brain.

Help. Can't stop looking at pencil skirts. Like this one. I love vintage tattoo prints.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, smonster and shir. You're both welcome to come by and try it out in a few weeks (delivery time), but I suspect you'll have to fight the cat for it.

Smonster, I'm glad Xusa and the new kitty are getting on.

Polo cologne can give me flashbacks, too. Luckily (or un-), men don't wear it as much now as they did when I was in school.

And wow, I envy ones who can wear pencil skirt.

Yeah, I was surprised to discover that they look good on me, given that my waist is large relative to my hips, but I guess they emphasize the curves I do have. A-line skirts OTOH? Make me look like the symbol on a women's bathroom door; a rectangle plus a triangle, with a circle head atop.

tommyrot - I think of a hobble skirt as being ankle length, while pencil skirts are knee length. Whether or not this is accurate, I don't know.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Fine. I'll see if the cologne stink will push through the smell of children's ibuprofen, cough medicine and scrambled eggs. You know, the auditory detritus of taking care of our child.

Which I did yesterday, thankyewverymuch. Pllbbt.

Is it crazy that I kind of want to take "Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan and turn it into a WWII torch song?

Yes. Yes it is.

So crazy it just might work!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

A-line skirts at knee length, of somewhat loose fabric, looks great on me. Or so I think.

There's a part of me who thinks, now that my uni congrats me in "have a wonderful, challenging year!" that the only challenge they really put to me up do date was their bureaucracy.
