Hamish the dwarf hamster is proving difficult to tame. We're doing a little bit of 'getting to know you' stuff each day. Mostly giving her food and seeing if she'll sit in our hands, still inside the open cage at the moment. She squeals and runs into her little house if we spook her with any sudden movement. It's quite adorable.
Aw, poor, scared little Hamish! It does sound like a very cute fear, though.
(I *hate* the word "app." HATE. HAAAAAAAAATE.)
MY SISTAH.
I hated it when it was hipster slang for "appetizer" and I hate it now as hipster slang for "application." BAD WORD. NO BISCUIT.
I'm withholding moral judgment on Apple for the moment because I have yet to see and proof that their app store approval process involves more than a trained monkey with a dartboard.
~ma headed your way, Jess.
App, yuck. It doesn't bring on the rage, but it isn't a term I would use either.

::pushes all the available ~ma Jessica-wards::
Lots of ~ma to Jessica! What a royal PITA.
Productive Monday so far. Spent 1.5 hrs on MDT, and *finally* washed my work dishes. Don't ask how long, b/c I don't know and probably wouldn't tell you if I did. Weeks.
ION, has anyone else seen this article by Malcolm Gladwell about brain injury in football players (x-posted from Facebook)? Twelve years of soccer, five of rugby, a family history of Alzheimer's, and suddenly my future ain't looking so rosy. Not to make it all about me, though I guess I just did.
Yay for job having! Boo for concussions - 60 Minutes did a piece on that yesterday. Scary stuff.
Grrr! I want to boycott for the hookup thing, but I want to support for the HRC and PFLAG!
Gah. This is me and Nike last week, when they pulled out of the Chamber of Commerce over their crazy denialism on climate change and then signed endorsement deals with Michael Vick on the same day.
