Can they siphon it out?
Ginger, glad you okay! That's fucking scary. Good dog, Mr. Peabody!

Eek, so much going on in Bitches! GC, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Glad to hear he's going to be okay, but what a terrible thing to go through. Ginger, I'm so glad that Mr. Peabody scared off the prowler, but that's very scary for you. And Bonny, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Peace ~ma to you and to your friend's family.
I hereby smite Ginger's prowler with Hil's nightmare.Yes, this!
And empty tank~ma to Laura's DH!
Lots of empty-tank~ma.
My sister once put diesel in our parents' brand-new car. Luckily, it was only about a quarter of a tank, and she talked to a few mechanics who said that just filling it the rest of the way with gas would be OK.
Oh, and also, Jilli? Little prezzie is on its way to you.
Apparently putting diesel into a gas vehicle isn't as bad as putting gas into a diesel. It is all good since he hasn't turned it on, but they can't get the hose into the tank. There seems to be some type of something blocking it. Guess I'll text him again. He hasn't given me an update in about a half hour.
Having a dozen teen boys with him doesn't help. I told him to cram them all in the other vehicle and we could drive back tomorrow during the day to deal with the truck, but no that apparently isn't as sense making as it seems to me.
Diesel is heavier than gas. I Would recommend treating the truck as having been totally disabled, and finding other transportation, then having it towed to a dealer or other mechanic to have the tank dropped and emptied.
If no one turns the key and pumps, it might have a chance.
Plus? how much gas vs diesel? If push comes to shove Diesel is heavier than gas and one could theoretically insert a tube and pump diesel into the bottom of the tank, pushing out the gas on top, but that's a Mythbuster's-type challenge.
Some gas in diesel makes it thinner, a lot makes it dangerous.
Oh, no, Laura. Coping and getting some rest~ma to you and your DH. And those young men.
Also, finding reputable mechanic easily, far from home ~ma.
Tank ma~~~~ to B
