Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Rattlesnake bites are rarely fatal, but the pain is supposed to be excruciating. I hope they'll give him the good stuff.

Adult rattlesnakes go out of their way not to bite humans. Most bites are preceded by the words, "Hey, watch this." Moccasins, on the other hand, are evil snakes.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

even has a boutique for Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (probably the best known Gothic Lolita line).

I KNOW! And BtSSB is the line that makes my favorite ever sub-brand, Alice and the Pirates. I have been virtuously not checking the stock of the SF store, because if they get in stuff from the "Vampire Requiem" line, I shouldn't know. I can't afford it.

Look at all the clicky-links of fire and skully things! (This is where I casually point out that my birthday is coming up next month. In case anyone was wondering.)

GC, I'm glad your dad is going to be okay! Ginger, I hope you don't have any more excitement like last night's.

Our wings are not tired.

Hope your dad gets the good and effective pain stuff, GC. Scary.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

GC, I'm glad to hear that he will be ok.

This [link] is the same pattern as the Taika dishes I linked to before, but the background is blue and I have a lot of unreserved WANT for them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Laura, my experience with SATS was that bright slackers do alarmingly well on them, often allowing them to get into excellent schools from which they flunk because of those lacking study skills.

That was me! Didn't flunk out, only because I changed my major to something I could pass in my sleep.

Parenting fail, Alabama style:

HAHAHA. The stupid, it continues to top itself with outrageous acts of stupidness. Since the article didn't mention otherwise, the little girl must be okay. Unless she has to keep living with her crazy-ass momma. What are the consequences of being charged with endangering a child? Will they take her away?

Snakebite

Oh OW. I'm glad he's going to be okay.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I was feeling kind of blah and fell asleep a few hours ago, and just woke up, shaking and soaked in sweat, from a nightmare about stuff that happened over ten years ago. That was ... intense. And disturbing. And I didn't like it and wish I knew how to tell my subconscious to cut it out.

Ginger, I hope you don't have any more excitement like last night's.

I have reinforced my door with a paranoid assortment of long screws, glue and some gadgets from Home Depot.

I hereby smite Ginger's prowler with Hil's nightmare.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And me! I got rusticated.
