My FIL called -- my cell phone. He never calls me. but it looks like he just called my number instead of DH's number. And why was he calling -- to share a reciepe page he found on the web.

Best Buy idiot says in one breath "we sold out of linksys router on Friday", and in the next breath is trying to convince me the only routers they sell are all wireless, and it's the same price, despite looking at empty shelf with tag for 1/3 the price where sold out wired goes. Grumble. So instead of getting a router, I'm getting a haircut.

I went to get a "bang trim" (I pay wayyyy too much for my haircut, but I get a free bang trim about 4 weeks, between haircuts) and had to wait almost 45 minutes. Which was annoying (especially since they'd called and rescheduled for 15 minutes EARLIER!). But my hairdresser felt really bad, and gave me more of a cut than a trim (she's supposed to just trim the bangs, or in this case the bit in the back, since I don't have bangs). And scheduled another bang trim in a month, and told me not to come for a haircut until December. So I'm happy! :)

Oh dang, when are school pictures? I forgot. I think Franny is going to wear a jumper too (jumper = American definition), at least that's what she chose a couple weeks ago. Her vote may change on the actual day. But it's pretty and purple and has a very sweet blouse to wear under it.

Aims, I totally relate to the lack of motivation re papers etc. I am shutting myself up in the library today to see if I can get stuff written. When's your paper due?
