Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Amy, it's good to see you too! It's been a while, hey?

Is Clark County (Las Vegas) still the fastest-growing district in the country? How do you feel about desert and sin, ChiKat?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think the real estate bust has hit Las Vegas hard, no?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Las Vegas is definitely doing poorly right now--my sister and BIL live out there, and their rental house is surrounded by ones in foreclosure. In fact, they had to leave their last rental when that one went into foreclosure.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

OH MY FUCKING GOD. My mother asked me about setting up a computer network. I suggested that she ask my brother WHO FUCKING DID I.T. SUPPORT FOR A LIVING. And she said "well, I don't want to ask K because I don't want to take him away from his family. I don't want to ask him to do too much". Oh, but it's fine to ask ME to do shit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did you say no? I know these things are near to impossible with family, but still. I mean, you're just not better suited for it. If he can't do it, let him say no.

I said no, because it's one thing to fool around plugging and unplugging if it's your network, but I'm not going to do it with someone else hovering over my shoulder making "helpful" suggestions.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Jesus. Good luck, Vortex - she really, really really needs to take on board that you have a life, and that you are not just going to slot into the empty space in hers.
