Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

He said to drink one of these protein shakes before going to bed, the protein burns fat while you sleep.
I don't think that's actually true.
I am the *worst* slash-spotter in the history of ever...it's not really one of my turn-ons, though. But even with the busted gaydar you'd have to be completely dense not to spot Vince/Eric or Dan/Casey.
Dan and Casey were so Married.

Late to the Orc sex party (ew)
I expect shitfaced orcs sublimate their sexual urges into acts of random cannibalism. A little ear nibble and then...lobe-chomp!
I have to admit that when the subject came up, my first thought was to quote "Meat's back on the menu, boys!"
O_a: recent exercise studies say go for chocolate milk instead. Plenty of protein and less gag inducing. (well, that's what i hear, i find the very idea of cow-juice to be gag-inducing but i realise that i am in the minority here)
cow-juice--you're going to need a bigger juicer.
I don't think that's actually true.
Me neither. Sounds like an urban myth to me.
Protein shakes (or chocolate milk) are good immediately after exercise, for faster rebuilding of the muscle fibers that are damaged by exercise; this means better recovery, less soreness, and faster muscle-building. At night, they're just extra calories -- and notions such as "protein burns fat" are basically alchemy.
There's a lot of ignorant bullshit in the name of sports nutrition, between the miracle weight-loss hawkers and the miracle get-big-n-manly hawkers. In reality, there aren't any miracles, and if it smells like one, that's a good reason to be suspicious.
