Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Boy is right because there is NO SEX in Middle Earth.

Except for Sam and Frodo.

In movie!Middle Earth Aragorn and Legolas are totally getting it on. In book!Middle Earth Legolas and Gimli are an item.

maybe some shy glances and footsie, but that's it.

Lurtz makes shy glances at no one. But he's Uruk Hai. It's the Uruk Hai that are born at Mordor--a special breed of Saruman's. Garden variety orcs are corrupted elves.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Quick - someone ask StuntHusband if Orcs have sex....

eta: That didn't look right....

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

StuntHusband was calling us self-righteous and threatening to slap us last time he was around, so...

“Not dead yet!”

Sure, maybe some shy glances and footsie, but that's it.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It's the Uruk Hai that are born at Mordor--a special breed of Saruman's.

This statement makes the baby Sauron cry. Also, probably will make SH's brains liquify and drain out his ears.

Still talking movie--it's the only place Lurtz shows up.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My ankle hurts, but I don't want to take the Tylenol 3 because I don't want more dizziness. I've got PT tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure that, after that, pain will win out over dizzy and I'll take it.

I honestly can't remember the last time that nothing hurt.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Wow, there was a lot of talking today.

{{{ Shir }}} for you and your family. And TONS of healing~ma for your sister.

Jilli, Part of me thinks you should interview for your old job, see if they reinstate it. But, I highly doubt they will, and it would be rather awkward, I'm guessing. Tons of Job~ma that the other, better paying position pans out!

My niece is bi-polar. Been a handful since my sister & BIL adopted her, about 4 years now. Seems Taekwondo is really helping her out mentally. Maybe it's reaching a new level of maturity (9ish), and just happens to coincide with the Taekwondo. I dunno.

blech! Ugg. Listening to my BIL about workout advice. He said to drink one of these protein shakes before going to bed, the protein burns fat while you sleep. Hey, who doesn't like that notion. Blech. Tastes nasty. Only drank half the bottle.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I am quite disturbed by the talk of Orcs getting drunk and getting it on.

I still say that Eomer is the ideal guy--he'll leave a girl happy after a night in the sack.

Eowyn. My ideal woman. It's all the going-into-battle-while-remaining-lovely stuff.

Shir, health~ma for your sister. I hope she's better really soon.

Hil, I hope the dizziness calms down. Sometimes side effects ease off after you get more used to the medication. I was mega-dizzy on pregabalin (my miracle drug) for about a week, and then I was fine. Anyway, no-side-effects~ma, in the hope that codeine stays useful for you.

Aims, poor you with the twenty girl-scouts - that sounds a bit stressful. The Girl was a girl guide (our equivalent) assistant leader for a short time, but she wasn't really needed, so she stopped. Her girls were fairly calm, from what I am given to understand. Yours sound... less so.

Kickboxing was so much fun! And I'm, apparently a natural! And the instructor I was working with is a Buffy fan and a Star Trek fan (he mocked Kirk's punching technique)!

Heh. That's really cool. Oh, and thanks for sharing your bipolar story, askye. There's a lot in common with my experiences there. Always helps to know you're not alone in these things.
