I'm glad your tooth was just an extraction, Steph! At least that was a quick fix.

Nora, love that picture of your two cats in the window seat. You're lucky, though--my cat would have had that crystal bowl and its associated bits on the floor in a heartbeat. She loves to get behind things and shove them onto the floor, which is why I have all my breakable tchotchkes on shelves she can't reach.

Thrive to spite them

Steph I'm sorry you had to have your tooth pulled.

I had my wisdom teeth removed and swished a lot with salt water.

So my day has been interesting, my brake light was going off yesterday. So I got it checked out...and $500 late I have new brake stuff, two new tires, and I also need an alignment and a new CV Axle in a month or so.

Then I come home and I'm on laptop and the montior goes black and white. Everything. The lcd monitor I have set up as a dual monitor is fine.

It's definitely a Monday.

Steph, I'm glad they took care of you so promptly. Sorry it involved those noises. I've hear them too.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sorry it involved those noises.

I should clarify; I wasn't horrified or anything when I heard them. It was more of a "Oh god, of *course* I'm going to hear my tooth being ripped out! So *that's* what that sounds like...."

It wasn't a particularly fun moment, but it was really just a Huh moment.

Now eating a baked potato all mooshed up.

Trust my rage

I am totally lusting after your potato. I don't make them much here because they heat the kitchen so much but I love love love a good baked potato.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Does anyone know how long fresh mozzarella (the kind packed in water) lasts in the fridge?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wikianswers says it only lasts a couple of days as it is highly perishable. Changing the water it's stored in can stretch that time out but I wouldn't keep it around for longer than four or five days.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I spent the last 45 minutes constructing a playhouse for my cat out of cardboard boxes

Thanks, I just found that too. Sad now. They're from last week, so I dumped them, but I can't believe I let them go to waste. I'm usually pretty good at using up leftover ingredients, but we just had so many leftovers after the family dinner, that there were a few casualties.

Well, I was horrified, but I have had a total of 11 teeth pulled (7 were reluctant baby teeth) and the cracking and snapping of the wisdom teeth really grossed me out.
