I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Well, we've discovered his love of video games (suprise!). Christopher gave him a coupon for a video game for his lost tooth and they went to get a Sonic game for the Wii this afternoon. His fine motors skills have been delayed but he's catching up and finding more games he can play. I think we can always make deals with him when it comes to a game.

Liv is very much like Emeline--Princesses and Candy are her main currency.

We're going to get both kids DSs for Christmas with some age appropriate games since they both want one desperately.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

In entirely separate situations, two of my friends have been dumped today. The universe appears to be in a bad mood.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sometimes I miss my reward chart. But it gets harder when the prizes get bigger...M&M's are easier to get than Vinny Chase.

Talk about ego boost. Folks from old!job just called. My old Ass't, who they are overhiring to run the sound board, and visiting artist Sound Designer. Tech rehearsals not quite going so well. Trouble with playback system. Visiting Artist said he will tell head honcho how much they miss me. "on multiple levels". Not sure what that meant, but I'll take it. Always nice to get a random ego boost.

9 was very cool movie. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it! The binaries are my fav. Cool story. I'd say more, but not sure how vague I would need to be without spoiler font.

Sweeet! Just called the hospital. Dad is in an "intermediate U" room (not quite sure what it is, it's not ICU, and not a regular room). Anyhow, he has a phone in there, and he is awake, and talking, and I got to chat with him for a little bit. Sounds ok.

Jewishstas, may you be signed and sealed in the book of life. Happy new year.

That sounds like a good holiday greeting to CC&P so I can sound all multicultural while offering all y'all the best of this holiday season.

"I'm a lazy, whiny bitch who eats too much chocolate...."

Huh, I don't think those count as "what's wrong with you" - after all it's what makes you fit in so well with us.

Look up "baby" in the dictionary, and in a reasonable world, you would see that photo of Ryan with the blue cap on his head. So perfect.

I mean, that was some serious, Grade A Lethal Cuteness right there.

Emmett's cuteness is increasing in sophistication, all complex, and layer-y.

I've recently discovered foam art supplies. Maybe if I made some out of foam. Make them more permanent than just posterboard.

It's darling! But is it too thick to laminate with the posterboard cut-outs? Because if you laminated it then it would be easy for folks to add in a few items on each list, customized for their kid. And it would help with the durability.

The status is NOT quo.

t poofs into thread for first time in days and days

I'm so glad to hear that your dad is doing better, Omnis! And I could have told you that they miss you LOTS at old!job (though not as much as the rest of us do)--when ND designed the show before this, he sent M. down to check the initial setup and then ND did the LCS programming himself...because he KNEW that the new person is in way over her head. You are missed. On many levels.

So I'm in SF this weekend, AIFG! I came up for a girls' weekend with megan walker, Juliana, and meara (who was in town for work), and we went to Folsom Street Fair today. Wow. Just...wow. I saw things no one should ever see. Had a great time, though, and now I'm taking some down time at MW's place to do a little schoolwork before we meet up for dinner.

ETA: FredPete, I was so sorry to hear about Rigatoni. My sympathies on your loss.

ETA2: Barb, WOOT! That place is gorgeous. And YAY you on the West Coast!
