I'm not as eloquent as Nilly, so I'll go with a more standard form:
If I've offended anybody this year, through my words or deed, intentionally or unknowingly, I am sorry.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Other Buffista parents: this whole lethal cuteness phase Ryan has going on, that lasts, what, forever? Is that about right?
Just about, but as Hec said, it evolves.
We had a very big Good Thing happen today! A success in some behavior mod for Emeline. A few weeks ago, I created a behavior chart thingie. It has a castle at the top, and a path with cobblestones. There is a foam princess on a popsicle stick with a pin in the bottom. One side of the path says, "MOVE UP!" and a list of things that will move the princess up one space - Helping with laundry, vacuuming a room, cleaning up without reminding. The other side of the path says "MOVE DOWN" and the same sort of list with whinging (b/c I mispelled it), stomping, arguing, etc. The sky above castle has some cotton ball clouds and a big, sparkly sun and it's surrounded by rewards for reaching the castle. Candy! Sleepover! Baking with Mommy! Ice Cream!
This morning, Emeline reached the castle for the first time!! Things have been a lot better as far as her behavior and habits. She's cleaning up without reminding, she's looking for things to help with that will move her up a space, she's going to be without fighting, and as a result, we are a much happier Miracleborn household. WOOHOO!!! Thank you Supernanny!!
She got a bag of M&M's (her choice) as her reward just now. She's very proud and we just heaped a crapton of praise on her.
Yay, Princess Emeline!
Aw, that's great, Aims! What a cute idea.
Go, Emeline! That's great.
Aims, you should sell those charts on Etsy - that's such an awesome idea.
Here's the one we made: [link]
Jess - do you think people would buy them?
Oh, absolutely.
I'd think people would buy them -- maybe if you left spaces for people to write in their own rewards and behaviors and stuff.
