~ma to Mooshu.
Birthday happies to erika.
Hairpats and congratulations to P-C.
Shana Tova!
Oh, bonny, didn't get a chance to use your line about only calm people can help dogs be calm - but the jumpy dog stayed clear of me altogether at last encounter. Of course, when the calmer dog calmly walked over to me, and just as I was about to happily reach down to pet him, the owner called him away from me. And later, I observed the two dogs fighting with a fair bit of growling. I don't think I've ever seen two dogs of the same family/pack fight like that in person before. But that just confirms how out of balance the command structure is with them.
Thanks, Laura-- Right now we're just dosing him with Cephalexin and Benadryl. I'm just hoping really, really hard that nothing exceptionally wonky shows up in the blood work.
Just read Beep Me - peace~ma and punctuation for Fred and Rigatoni.
Yeah, Benadyrl is always on hand here too. Poor puppies. FWIW, my dogs have always lost weight in the summer. I hope Mooshu's weight loss is a seasonal thing.
Hugs and strength for Fred and Rigatoni.
well, at least she laughed at it. That's a start, I suppose. After all, ya still have to twist the knife when removing it from the back, right?
I have decided holiday food contains no calories. I don't need to add all the honey cake to the WeightWatchers calculator. Of course not.
Shir, I know not how to deal with the paradox of knowing what you need to do, but not wanting to exhaust yourself with it. Your conclusions over what's stopping you from being happy seem to be very good ones, though. Definitely worth working towards.
Recovery~ma for Rigatoni, Fred.
The verdict on Mooshu is full-blown diabetes. His glucose is up over 500. I get to go learn how to give insulin injections to an 85 pound dog.
At least it's not Jasmine. I'd wind up with a needle stuck somewhere terrible trying to give that dog an injection.
