Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My favorite Brendan moment was at the DC F2F when I saw him sitting alone, so I rushed over to make sure that he wasn't feeling left out and he laughed and said that he just needed a minute, and I was the third Buffista to come over to check on him. He was very impressed that we were so into taking care of everyone.

Happy birthday, erika!

Shana tova, y'all I hve once again failed to find services to attend and I'm not even cooking today. Wishing the bitches a happy new year may be as observant as I get this year...

“Not dead yet!”

Wishing the bitches a happy new year may be as observant as I get this year...

Well, in the end, that's kind of the point, isn't it?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, erika!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I grew up with it, sj. I can't really say i was a regular watcher, but my mom watched. So I know everyon, and the basic relationships. The best part about soaps -- when they got really bored things would go off into strange fantastical fantasy lands -- and GL did that really well.

Yeah, I was hoping for more of a strange, fantastical ending, but instead they pretty much paired everyone up, which I suppose is strange and fantastical in its own way. A lot of the former cast members made appearances this week, which was a treat.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy Birthday, erika! May your next year be full of sweetness.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Wishing the bitches a happy new year may be as observant as I get this year...

Eh. The Girl is a (Jewish) atheist (and I'm a Christian!), so no services for us, and we'll do the prayers at dinner only because they make me happy. Enjoy your new year, whatever you do!

ETA: Signed up for my evening course. Sociology of crime and deviance. I briefly covered some deviance theory in my MA, but only from a disability studies perspective, so this should be a bit different and fun.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy *&@$# Birthday to Erika!

It is sad to see a show that was on so long bite the dust. I hope that the ending was satisfying to the fans.

Aww, Brendon loves you guys too. I can't believe it has been so long since we managed to F2F.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, I made the lentil pate. Now I'm watching Prairie Home Companion with my dad.
