Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Tetracycline stained, so they'll never be white

Me, too! When I was a kid, I got teased about it, because my teeth were not just not-white; they were sort of mottled. In high school, braces covered them, and finally after college I got veneers, but because the veneers are a polymer and not porcelain, they've gradually gotten discolored from all the coffee. They can't be lightened, so if I want non-coffee-colored teeth, I need new veneers, which I *really* want (I'm vain; so sue me), but I'm not even considering it until I have my credit card paid off (which I hope will be by July or August).

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

A moment of silence for Tom's beard, being shaved off as we speak.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm really thinking about veneers, but the drilling and grinding kinda freaks me out.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ignoring the scary dentist talk.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have a friend who has been self-conscious about her teeth all her life, and at 67, she's finally getting the whole Hollywood mouth.

I've thought about it, but there's no possibility of my having the money in the foreseeable future, in part because I've spent so many thousands just trying to hang onto the ugly teeth I have.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph, have you tried Ensure? It can be drunk at room temperature, and it's supposed to be all balanced and stuff. I love the chocolate. Got me through my smashed up lip back in the day.

Amych, glad to serve.

I hope that the weathermen are overestimating the amount of snow they're expecting us to get tonight.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

They're telling us 5-9 inches. It was supposed to start around 8PM. It didn't. It's kind of sleeting. Not even to the level of "wintry mix"
