[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Woah Barb. Lucky you.

There was an episode of "Beatle brunch" on my local oldies radio station this weekend whereupon they focused on Beatles songs that are so well regarded, it's hard to believe they were not hits at the time, many songs were never released as singles, but we know every note.

Speaking of the Beatles, did we know this?

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept 11 (Reuters) - The Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) on Friday announced a deal with The Beatles' company, Apple Corps, to remake the band's movie "Yellow Submarine" in 3-D, extending the Fab Four's presence in the 21st century.

Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook said the new "Yellow Submarine" will be directed by Robert Zemeckis using the same motion-capture effects employed in "Polar Express."

It will incorporate the 16 Beatles songs and recordings from the original animated film, licensed from Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC and EMI Capitol Records. No release date was announced.

Um...

“Not dead yet!”

Jaysus, Kanye, what a way to make it All About You.

West said he knew he'd erred "as soon as I gave the mic back to her and she didn't keep going."

Summing up what he did and how he now feels about it, West said, "I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt."

All is well that ends in pizza.

And apparently there will be a Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Disney also announced that the fourth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" hit franchise would debut in summer 2011 with actor Johnny Depp reprising his starring role.

The new "Pirates" will be called "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, Cindy! That's way more cool than Emmett eager to show me his new Man Hair Down There.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OMG, Cindy!

Our wings are not tired.

OMG! You are a good person for gently preparing. I was the 3rd daughter in my house and NONE of us had any preparation. I still think my older sisters could have given me a heads up there since mom failed. The current generation gets much more information, and this is a good thing. Also, oh my, that is a milestone.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Cindy, I'm going to merely say, "Hey, cool," on account of my own mom got all excited when I hit the same milestone and bought me a commemorative plate (er, not that there's an official Franklin Mint line of commemorative flatware for this occasion; it just had a pretty picture of a cat that she thought I'd like--nevertheless, desperately humiliating).

So, merely, Hey, cool.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just saw the moment where Beyonce invited Taylor Swift onstage. It wasn't just that she gave Taylor the time, it was the way that she tied it to her own experience about being excited for her first nomination. I especially love the sort of older statesman smile and nod that she gave Taylor. CLASS ACT, I will never say another bad thing about her (her clothes are still fair game though)

Our wings are not tired.

Boy milestones are more voice changing, mood changing, and becoming even more odoriferous. But they also get real strong and help mom lift heavy stuff, so it's all good. They didn't feel they needed to share all the hair growth, but they did start shaving the face part.
