[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well, Paul Gross and fresh CCCookies would be an acceptable distraction, until one had to actually *drive* somewhere on the sleet. The melted and refrozen sleet.

Yeah, I'm really lucky that my office closes down when the weather gets dangerous. (And they don't dock my vacation pay.) The DS and CCcookie-fest is in my upstairs neighbor's apartment, so the worst I'll have to deal with are icy stairs. And possibly power outages, which would suck. But not as much as driving on ice.

ETA: Totally not too much to ask, meara. I hope someone cute, interesting, and unattached finds her way to your local soon.

Ok. I love these kids, and we've had tons of fun, but if their parents don't get in tonight (ETA: due to snow), we may all end up dead.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Is it still taboo to wear white to a funeral? How about ivory to a memorial service? (my nice sweater is ivory)

eta: nebbermind, my grandmother's black sweater still fits.

The parents' flight is delayed. I'd bet good money they're not coming home till tomorrow.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is it ok if the six month old I'm watching keeps flipping onto his stomach in the crib?

I thought it was red you shouldn't wear to a funeral. Maybe it's just one of those local things.

Because books.

He's probably used to doing it in his sleep, sj. I wouldn't worry. Some babies are tummy sleepers whether you want them to be or not, once they can roll.

Thanks Amy. We picked him up because he is sick and teething and very unhappy.

vw, that sucks. I hope they are able to fly in soon.

The baby is not happy unless Dave walks him around the room, and I am such a meanie head to daring to wipe his drippy nose.

Now tagless for your comfort.

vw, is there a ground stop at Logan? I thought I saw that on CNN. But I may be confusing it with a southern airport. Regardless, it looks like anything coming into the Eastern seaboard is frelled.
