the doggy lama says only calm people can help dogs be calm and that dogs just don't know the difference between jumping on you and jumping on the person who might get knocked down and sue them!
I like this. I'm going to keep it in a spare pocket of my brain for an appropriate occasion.
Yay, for a good Beatles Rock Band party and lasagna, Omnis!
Also yay, for your good interview, Shir!
Nice one, Shir! When do you hear?
I have skipped to announce that I will be changing my state of residence as of November 1st to Kansas. Cause Dan asked me I move in, and I said yep.
Cool beans, Erin! How exciting! I'm so happy for you.
Right on Erin! Nookie on tap!
YAY Erin, that is awesome news!
Yay Erin! And I forgot to say yay busy housekeeping omnis too, earlier!
When do you hear?
Don't really know. Originally they planned to interview the last of the students on 29/9, but for some reason, after interviewing me they decided they want to interview him ASAP (and I hope this wasn't because of me answering "as soon as you can, I guess" to the "when will you need an answer?" question.) After the interview, they showed me around the offices "if I'm there already", and at some point the "if you'll end up here, then..." became "when you'll be here, then...". Oh, and they told me I left a pretty good impression.
So, I think, hoping not to jinx myself and that the other student won't be a better person to the internship than me, I have pretty good chances.
In anyway, they were really nice people.
And again, Whoooooo Erin!
Thanks for all the grandma-related brackets and well wishes.
My mom called last night and after my grandma got home, she fell again.
Who knows what excitement today will bring?!?!?!
