I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I do love pesto, but too much raw garlic is a problem.

Roast it. Or even just cook it a little to take the edge off. You can put cloves in a pan with their skins on and take them out when the skins start getting brown spots.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I made cinnamon bread today that no one is allowed to touch despite the awesome smell because it is going to be french toast tomorrow for breakfast.

Dear me. So, do you need me to bring orange juice in the morning??

Our wings are not tired.

Sure, ChiKat! The boys can down a gallon of OJ faster than you can imagine.

Can i made a decent vegan pesto without nuts or do i really need to haul my butt back out in the midday sun for nuts?

Probably a little late, but I find that the texture/roughness of the nuts really helps break down the herbs.

If all the people in my life don't know by now that I can't handle more than seven hours of partying in one go, they really should learn...!

It's just that we have such faith in your ability to keep the party going!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

blergh. went to go see my parents and grandmother, which is kind of a tough visit to start with. the plan was for a birthday lunch, but instead my grandmother fell backwards on the pavement and smacked her head outside the restaurant.

Suuuuuuuuuuuucked.

She is all right, no stitches or trauma or anything. but it was really horrifying, as it always is. blood and ambulance and witnesses and police.

I repeat: blergh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Nora! I'm glad she's okay, but that must have been so scary for you.
