Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have a birthday thing with my folks and grandmother tomorrow- we are driving to CT for the day. Sunday, we have no plans.

Man, I am starting to feel run down.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Coding and Sleeping

Both kids have strep throat, so my weekend will probably entail getting sick.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Man, I am starting to feel run down.

That's probably a combination of anticipating your Saturday and the blahness of the weather that's just hit.

Although, that said, I've been feeling run down all week myself, even when the weather was still nice. Something in the MA air?

No serious plans. Dinner with a friend tonight, then I have to take care of some errands (hopefully early tomorrow while the weather is still meh). Maybe try and make it to Section 9 or 9?

“Not dead yet!”

Abby goes to her first school dance tonight.

Other than that, nothing much beyond working on the MS, virtual house hunting online, and trying not to get the crud Nate's been toting around all week.

I suspect I'm failing on that front since I feel fairly terrible at the moment.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

New York! Trudy and Tom and I are trying to firm up Sunday brunch and/or Brooklyn book fest plans if any other NYCistas are around.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I hope all the ones who feel like they are coming down with something, or are being exposed to nasty bugs, manage to get through whatever ailments quickly. Or avoid 'em.

My weekend plans include working both Saturday and Sunday. But on Saturday, we plan to take the residents to the Spam Museum.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Wishes of the day, Trudy. Enjoy!

Cannot scroll back too far. Am just home, after a three hour flight delay last night (we got to the hotel at 2am) and a four hour drive home this morning. Tomorrow I have to go to a wedding. Need sleep! Anyone want to catch me up on what I missed here?
