Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{Shir}}. That is awful. I would say if you are financial dependent on your parents you are not responsible for where you live. You'll live there while you have to and move out as soon as practical and hopefully find a way to not beat yourself up over it.

Oh, if I could COMM a non-Buffista. A friend Facebook Status from last night:

Don't get me wrong, I really like Obama. But watching Congressional addresses always makes me think of two things as they do that stand up/sit down thing: Catholic Mass and Whack-a-mole.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks, all, again. It's good to vent about it here, and have you as a support group for me.

I really didn't find the best of times to be unemployed. And even with a job, it'll take me few months to have the savings and live outside of the settlement.

Shir, I think you have to focus on the fact that you are not choosing to live in a settlement; your parents are, against your strenuous objections. All you can do is concentrate on developing a plan to leave home as soon as possible. You can do more for the causes you believe in if you get your degree as soon as you can and not have to take off time to make money to live. Think of your parents as funding your activism.

More awesome logic.

ssssh. I left work early. I got TWO big things off my task list (inventory of all the gear, inventory of all the gear we disposed of). Then I heard BIG rumblings. Storm! My windows were down a bit. So, rather than just rolling them up and staying the last hour, I snuck away.

a guy on "Wrecks to Riches" just said "The Camaro is the quintessential muscle car". I don't think I'll ever watch this show again.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I had a 1976 Camaro Rally Sport that I loved and wish I still had. That was an awesome car.

But the quintessential muscle car? Mmm. Probably not. What do you consider the QMC, Laga?

Excuse me, I need to go check eBay Autos.

Until 20 minutes ago I would have said the Mustang but if Wikipedia is correct, pony cars are not muscle cars. I always thought pony cars were a subset of muscle cars but if not I gotta go with the GTO.

Also I'd heard of the Rocket 88 a million times but I never knew that many people considered it to be the first muscle car or how darling it was!
