Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, fun.

Oooh, cool.
I've never dealt with this other office, and they say that what I have is a "refund" check, and I don't think I'm supposed to be getting a refund for anything, since I haven't paid for anything yet, since I haven't gotten my loan money yet. I'll go to pick up that check tomorrow and see if somehow my loan money got routed over there.
At my fucked up university, we call the check that the student gets after their loans come in and we take our cut their "refund". I suspect that's what the mysterious check is.
That sounds like it's probably what it is, Vortex.
It's a good show and it's with a director and designers that I enjoy working with, but I'm just neck deep in all of my Halloween Horror Nights stuff and this show is distracting me.
I tried to type up a bit more of one of my results today, and I was just having a bad day writing-wise and couldn't get anything to work out right. I ended up typing and then deleting essentially the same paragraph three times and then giving up and just typing "Fix this!!" in bold. (My issue with this result is that I figured it out visually, by drawing pictures and diagrams and arrows to the important parts, and it's just really difficult to figure out how to turn that into writing. I think I'm going to figure out how much of the diagrams are really needed and make digital versions of those to refer to in the text, but I need to reduce my eight or so handdrawn diagrams to no more than two digital ones.)
Is that at my old workplace? Who is directing now that SN is here in Dallas? How are the new mics? Shure? What elements?
Nick is directing. The new mics are doing great. We are using the DPA 4061's on them. Sounds really good. So far I'm really happy with them. I got the UHF-Rs with the UR1 transmitters. I'll pick up some UR1Ms in the long run.
