Besides mashed cauliflower, my favorite recipe is blanched cauliflower and broccoli mixed with roasted (to peel) red pepper, in a balsamic/seed mustard/olive oil, spiced to the hilt dressing. Awesome warm or cold.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Instead, I watched nearly all of SG-1 on hulu.
That was a very good plan.
We had very yummy clam chowder and a buger at a pub for dinner. Now we're trying to head home, but the traffic is terrible.
That was a very good plan.
I wish I could feel guilty, but I've really enjoyed it.
Just went outside with Bartleby, only to run into a neighbor to chat to about my wicked sore muscles (we go to the same gym). While we were at it, we heard a HUGE crash sound as a tree limb came down on a car across the street. Tree limbs are a hazard in this 'hood...big time.
Turns out, it was her husband's car that got hit. Her only upset? The car wasn't hurt at all. Apparently, she hates it. Though I can't imagine how it came off unharmed given the height of the limb and where it landed. Oof.
Is the new SG show that is starting soon going to be a continuation of the previous series or something a newbie can watch?
sj - all new.
Apparently, also, all depressing. Deaths abound (so rumor has it).
I'm leery of SG's version of Star Trek: Voyager, aka "Gilligan's Island". "We're lost on a ship too far from home, let's try to get home", and all the requisite threat-of-success, obviously-can't-or-the-show-would-end nonsense.
But depressing gets my vote.
I just made walnut pancakes with a heated rasberry/blackberry/blueberry topping.
You'd think I, of all people, would have remembered this sooner, but just tuned into the telethon, and donated. Just in time for a matching session. Haven't seen any of the national stuff.
Thanks, SH!
Still traffic. Someone entertain me, please?
