Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

This is why I have a slipcover.

Our couch is old and uncomfortable, so the nun money (since it isn't regular income that I budget for) is going to be exchanged for goods in the form of a couch. (Which I might be smart about and buy a slipcover for.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I recommend the slipcover.

All is well that ends in pizza.

WTF is wrong with people? [link]

I must say he does look like a child slapper. Right out of Central Casting in the old days.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Steph, my couch is that faux suede microfiber stuff and it's pretty awesome wrt pet hair and cat scratching.

ION, am idiot. Didn't pay cable for two months by accident and it was cut off. Duke Power will cut me off Tues if I don't pay this weekend. Sigh. Not really a grownup.

oof, smonster. I swear if I didn't have responsible roommates and then a responsible husband, I'd be in the same situation.

We are grownups in other ways though, I just know it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I may have to kill because I MISSED that.

Boss, we need to build a time machine. IJS. That way we can go see all the productions we've missed, and I can go back to 1897 and buy a first edition of Dracula right after it was published.

Pretty, pretty houseware stuff- Here's a site that has pictures of a kerjillion silver flatware patterns.

All the ones I love are from around 1885-1905. The ones that I think are ugly are from the last 1905's and early 1960's, except for one of a leaf pattern.

Still looking.

[link] WHOA. Maybe I *should* take a sterling set from that person who owes me a lot of money and keeps trying to give it to me instead of paying back X value of cash. On the other hand, what does a person who usually eats on the sofa watching Tivo need with a sterling flatware set for 12?

Here's a diagram of a proper table setting, in case you can't remember if the bread plate goes on the left or the right: [link]
