That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The hammer is his penis.

Is it a ballpeen hammer? Because that has "ball" and "peen" right in the name and is hence more amusingly genitalacious.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hee, Toddson. Mos def. Smonster, you'd probably make him nostalgic for his indie-festival film period where tiny checks were probably the order of the day. Some women work out for their crushes. I use less water(Adrian), learn about the designated hitter(Keith) and where Chechnya is(Rachel) Pointless unsated lust is apparently very good for my knowledge base, if not my peace of mind.

True dat. But Thor's hammer was not a ballpeen, IIRC. (Nor was Captain Hammer's, who I was quoting.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

All I know about the UK post is that my UK colleagues use all caps and lots of exclamation points when they warn people against using it.

Coding and Sleeping

I exposed my wife to Dr. Horrible's Sing along Blog. Conclusion: stupid and pointless. Ah well, we have very different tastes on some things.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My mother got dentures at age 30. Poverty-striken childhood with no dental care and overcrowded teeth. After five kids, the pregnancy related gum issues did her in.

I watched it with KBD - we both liked "Commentary: The Musical" almost more than Dr. Horrible itself!

I liked most of Dr Horrible but found it typically problematic (My Issues With Joss's Feminist Cred, Let Me Show You Them), but Commentary! was a thing of pure joy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

"Didn't you play the Tin Man?"

"Yeah, but I played the fuck out of that part."

I love Commentary!!!
