Is it so wrong of me to laugh at him and think about how (the way the legal job market is these days) he'll have significant debt and no job, while I'll still have mine?
That's not evil. That's the truth.
Okay, it's a little evil. But deliciously and rightfully so.
Anybody else have The Crushes That Never Die?
Oh yeah. And one is a boyfriend from 40 years ago. What different path might have been taken...
twitwaffle! Love it.
Go you, Sparky. That reminds me of something that happened to me while working a back-to-school event last week. A student threw a can in a cardboard recycling cart.
Me: That's for cardboard only. The recycling bin for cans is over there.
Student ignores me for several seconds, his friend sniggers.
Me: Someone will just have to sort it out later, SO IF YOU WOULDN'T MIND...
Student finally gets can out, without looking at me, while friend continues to snigger.
Who knows what he did with it after he walked away.
Recycling is the only thing I will actually get confrontational about.
I'm a little worried about taking acetominephen and aleve together. Thoughts?
I take them together all the time, with doctor approval. Just make sure you don't go above the recommended dose of the acetominephen.
Recycling is the only thing I will actually get confrontational about.
I am that way about littering, too.

Omigosh, littering chaps my ass. My neighborhood is really bad about it, too.

I'm always shocked when I see people litter. I just can't believe people actually do that, but I shouldn't be since whenever we hike we always carry out extra trash to leave things better than we found them as a rule.
ION: My nanny came this morning with some brand new cute clothes for my girl. They were not from the nanny, but from the family she used to work for (that has two boys). Apparently, the mom just couldn't resist buying girl clothes, and my daughter was her excuse.
Littering brings out the road rage in DH. His sister tossed something out the window when we were following her and he made her drive back and pick it up. (bossy big brother) I get a bit crazed when we are on high drought alert and people toss lit cigarettes out the window.
The boys are very good about recycling and litter. They learned early on that I have zero tolerance.
I have decided this is Burrito Week and just had a chorizo burrito which was FULL OF WIN.
Yesterday, chile verde (at the same place I went today, Boca Grande on First Street in Cambridge)
Monday, my old standby, carnitas at Anna's in the MIT Student Center.
Tomorrow I think I might hit Felipe's in Harvard Square and Friday perhaps La TaQueria in Union Square.
