Me too. Here is an example. Today at work, I drank 2 cups of homemade salsa on a dare. It was really good salsa, and would have been worth it even if my supervisor hadn't promised to wear a sticker on her forehead that says, "I'm a nerd" as my reward.

I'm killing time waiting for migration assistant to finish copying files to a new machine, then I need to go through and update the software on the new machine, then get the old machine setup and ready to go out on a project. This could be a late night.

Oof, I'm tired. Alarm is going to go off in five hours. Ick. But I'm excited for the first day of classes since I've been back at school without the kidlets for two and a half weeks. So much more fun when the students show up! I'm even pretty well prepared for once.

And in YAY! news, Drew and I booked our wedding reception/party tonight! As you know, our actual wedding will be in Maui on January 5th, but now we have a date and time for the big par-tay for friends and family. It will be January 23rd at Ramsey's at the Club in Toluca Lake. We'll be sending out official save-the-dates in a few weeks, but you've all got the inside scoop. I am so relieved that the big details are now worked out. Phew.
