The fire almost doubled in size overnight, from 20,000 to over 35,000 acres. There have been only a tiny handful of buildings burned (three houses, and a handful of rec buildings in Big Tujunga canyon), and only four people injured, because the fire is primarily burning through the Angeles Crest National forest which is rugged and full of canyons that are very difficult to get to.
But it is still slowly creeping toward civilization (it's knocking at the door to JPL), and it's making the air around here VERY bad.
Stay safe!
I'm having caesar salad for lunch. Farmers market romaine is vastly superior to supermarket romaine. Too bad it's also so much more expensive.

There's now so much smoke in the air, I cannot see the mountain range from my house. This may change as the day wears on, and I'll keep taking and posting pictures.
All your pictures want me to log in Sean.
