Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Erin!

You are going to feel SO much better now. This has got to be an enormous relief.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Erin! So glad to see you!

You're better off without it -- it caused you nothing but trouble, girlfriend.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad you're home, Erin!

Emily, my dad said something similar to me, once. I was tempted to go into a long discussion about male/female excretion differences, but decided just ignoring him was the best route. Luckily, I didn't live with him at that point.

Our wings are not tired.

Erin! Welcome home, sweety. Also, what Emily said about the annoying girly parts.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, Erin, hon. Recovery-ma to you, lovely.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I already don't miss them. I have a teeny clear estrogen patch and it seems to be working just fine. I am down to one Vicodin, though, and wondering if I should call my doc and see if I can get some more, or something different, cause morning and post-walking or stairs is still YEOUCH.

How's everyone doing?!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Welcome home, Erin! Recuperate!

I love that story about your dad, brenda. And love that you did get the job, making it all worthwhile! Hee.

Good lord Emily. That's crazy talk.

Erin!! Welcome back! I hope this makes you awesomely better! Superhero-like, in fact! :)

I have discovered that I am, in fact, a pushover. Sigh. Tried to break up with the Girl last night, and she talked me right out of it. Argh. We'll see how this goes. I have promised to tell her more and better when she is doing things that irritate and hurt me. We'll see.

brillig

I just had a chat with the Quality Control people--standard touch-base thing--and found out I'm doing pretty good. Apparently, I'm adored in customer feedback. One person sent a feedback saying, "All of you should have 'I love Connie' t-shirts made and wear them every Friday." I think I'm going to track that one down and print it out.

I'm also the second-highest producer in the department, aside from the guy with the oddly unnatural numbers. He's either a robot or his methods are weird.

Now we'll see if there's a raise in it for me.

Oh Erin, you poor thing! So much love and healing ~ma to you.
