Words are usually at my disposal, but every now and again, I need one and it just utterly escapes me.
There's a word for that feeling but I can't remember what it is.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Words are usually at my disposal, but every now and again, I need one and it just utterly escapes me.

They probably have a word for it in German.

I bet the Germans have a word for this belief.

Deutsch uber alles?
Patronized is close to what I'm looking for. Man, I hate, hate, HATE this feeling. Words are usually at my disposal, but every now and again, I need one and it just utterly escapes me.
I think that maybe affronted might work. It always has the whiff of "sensitivity" to it.
Yeah, I thought of affronted, too, but it didn't seem to be quite right. It's affronted with the slight whiff of paranoia that comes with patronized. The "You say you're working on my behalf, but I see no evidence of it," feeling.
I bet the Germans have a word for this belief.
And they created it by stringing four other words together.
if I run out of tissues at work, does that mean I can go home?? Blargh!!
And for another sign the economy sucks. I'm trying to order speakers, and due to scaling back at the factory, they can not guarantee an October 1st delivery. Which means I need a plan B.
Vortex, all kinds of warm and fuzzy thoughts for you this weekend...along with some yummy adult beverages.
Just remember: you are fabulous. That is a constant.
The guy from the tree company down the street is going to take a look at it later this afternoon. I am hoping he will take pity on me. I'm not really a fan of the company, because I've seen crew members working without being safetied, but they seem like my best shot for something like this. This is their opportunity to change my mind, I guess. At some point, several trees have to go, including probably the one that dropped the limb, but I don't have the money. It's going to cost roughly the cost of a trip around the world to take that one out, since it's huge, hangs over the house and hangs over the power drop.
