River: You're not right, Early. You're not righteous. You've got issues. Early: No. Oh, yes, I could have that. You might have me figured out, then. Good job. I'm not 100%.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

omnis, yes: You were at my bro's house for Christmas. Right now it sounds like if the fire gets far enough north it it will miss them to the east. It's so scary to hear the names of streets I drive on. I'm used to the fires being far away!

water ~ma, Shir.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Isn't it fun going to the doctor, saying "I can't take Xmed, it causes Y and Z side effects." To which the doc responds, "Oh, that med doesn't do that," and then you get to say, "Check your PDR, look under 'rare and unusual side effects'. Go ahead, I'll wait."

A medication once turned my skin orange. Also gave me nausea, photosensitivity, and really bad headaches. I think I got just about every listed side effect from that one.

Little and unknown fact: carrots can be evil.

Photosensitivity was no fun at all. I'd go outside for half an hour, and when I came back in, every bit of skin that wasn't covered by clothes would have an itchy rash.

hunh. Since my mom became a medical marijuana activist I've been reading up a lot on both sides of the issue. One of the biggest arguments against using pot as medicine is that everyone reacts differently to it. It sounds like that's true of a lot of medications.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Hil that sounds like classic tetracycline reaction. I won't even try it.

A pharmacist friend has repeatedly threatened to tie me to a chair and feed me OTC meds just to see what would happen. Apparently I'm entertaining.

I just delurked in a mailing list roll call. Since it's a ListBox, I hope the "technology" of it won't come back and bite me in the ass.

Time to start getting ready, getting that cup of tea and return to writing that uber-postmodernistic paper. I've started to scare myself on this.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Indeed. I would expect that to be true of all medications, really. Except possibly ones that don't actually work.

I thought it was my imagination at first but now I'm sure I can smell the smoke.
