Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
A fellow student back in college got his pilot's license in dribs and drabs, when he had the $$ and time. Totally doable!
ouch Nora! Do you have a foot bath?
I'm going to learn to sail in the next year, and then maybe buy a boat.
Sailboating is a somewhat more environmentally friendly hobby than, say, driving a 50 year old car with no pollution controls that gets 11 mpg.
Wow, thanks! I'm just toying with the idea of flying lessons right now. But if I can carve out the time and the dosh over the next year or so it seems really tempting. So, sure, I'd love to see any links people have handy, thanks! dcp, I live in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC area. Our major airport, RDU, has a flight school, and there are apparently several smaller airports around that also have them. Now that they're getting biofuels that work in planes I feel slightly less eco-dreadful about it.
Yay, TCG is finally headed home!
Calli, no longer am in contact with that fellow student, but we were in Greensboro and he was doing it locally.
Someone on my Twitterstream mentioned having chocolate-chip pancakes for dinner. Guess what I really want now, and NO, it isn't the Cobb salad I'm going to be making. Hmmph.
(I haven't had chocolate-chip pancakes in ages. They would probably be Too Much for me now. But good LORD, they sound tasty. Really, really tasty.)
you know what's really good? Chocolate chip waffles with Ben & Jerry's cake batter ice cream on top. Not that I have these things. ijs. it is teh yum.
