But then, I work at a lefty liberal NGO. One of the VPs suggested producing a "Tattos of [Workplace]" calendar as a fundraiser and, while he was kidding, it would be totally doable.
I worked at a pretty liberal marketing agency and at one point, we discussed putting at "Tattoos of [Workplace]" page on our web site (we also discussed a "Pets of [Workplace]" page). One of the owners offered to pay for any tattoos of the company logo (which he already had on his upper arm).
Hm, that Samurai penguin is a neat design. I'm all set to get my next tattoo as soon as I can afford it, same design that I've had in mind for four years. Don't know where I'll get it, though, as the tattoo parlor down the street moved to the next town.
No tattoos for me. I don't like pain.

sj, glad you like them! I think she's amazing and would happily give a limb for an actual bit of original art by her. Until a limb-barter opportunity turns up, though, I'll just make do with the books.

JZ, I'll probably get a book and an outfit for her and then something little for her sister, who will give me a ton of guilt if I don't bring anything for her. These are the girls that are totally in love with TCG, so of course I am charmed by them.

I will highly recommend my guy here. He's worked on Perkins, SuziQ, and me (as well as a host of other miscreants). He's got an amazing sense of line.

I have two or three new tattoos in mind. One is decided, but it's tiny, so I want to figure out one of the others and do them at the same time. Maybe for my birthday.
