Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I was just thinking this morning that the thing I miss most about Arizona was not having to pay for eggs from free range chickens. I think the eggs are now competing with not dealing with tornadoes as the top thing I miss.

Trifecta?

This [link] might be the most pathetic lolcat ever.

ETA: a little clarification: It's the most pathetic-looking kitten ever made into a lolcat. The lol itself is actually pretty decent.

Thunder Snow!

It seems to be sunny out here. I should go take a little walk.

Toddson, you do have renter's insurance, right? That is some crazy shit your management company is trying to pull!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think this one might give it some competition, WindSparrow.

Also, I wish I could take your thundersnow. We're edging toward drought in NC again, and I miss snow in general.

Makeup people: What's the name of the Urban Decay eyeliner that supposedly doesn't come off? Is it 24/7? Because I bought some, and it does come off. Goes on great, but doesn't stay. I mean, it's 4 hours after I put it on, and it's rubbed away already.

Or anything else someone thinks would be amusing.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

hi all. I tried to skim/catch up, but could not. The last few days of my trip had traveling companions, and no time to log on, and of course work has punished me for being away for a week, and slowly getting caught up on all of that. So. I skipped. over 500 posts! YIKES! Hair pats, brackets, and kudos to thems that need it.

I just posted over in Natter about our power outage we just had--I'm pretty sure it's due to lightning, because immediately after the lights went out, thunder struck really loudly. It was only out for a few minutes, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It always came off on me too, but the other day I put some powder on the eyelid above it and did not have the usual problem.

Trudy beat me to what I was going to say: if I swipe powder across the area where I'm going to put the liner, it lasts a long, long time and doesn't smudge onto my puffy upper eyelids.
