Welcome back all of us, by the way.
Hmmm.
I have the round scar on my arm. What's more, I remember getting it.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Guess what one of my next projects is going to be?
I was hoping it was going to turn out be the giant flying clockwork praying mantis car. Gods, I love that movie.

Haven't seen you round these parts in ages! (But I've been skimmy girl, so I may have missed you.)
My siblings all have the round scar, but I don't. I do remember a time in my young life when I looked forward to getting my own, like it was a rite of passage of some sort. Like the church camp they all went to in summer, it seemed so cool when they did it, but when I got around to being old enough, things just were not the same.
DH got the round scar in the DP camp at one year. Then he had to have another one at age four to get on the boat to the US. Then he had to have another one at age six to start school.
Too much of a good thing.

Me too.

I haven't been around in ages. I am trying to stay caught up now though. Hi!
Frisco was way behind on the HiB vaccine for a while. There was a national recall. I wasn't too worried because all those diseases seem so rare. Then a few kids died in MN from HiB. Thankfully, this was just as Frisco got his last shot. Still, I was a little scared because you don't this k of that stuff as really being out there.
We have mostly vaccinated on schedule (mainly because our daycare requires it) but it still makes me irrationally nervous each time.
Weird...I posted that before I went to sleep and it just now appeared.
Maybe it's part of the database repair/restart.
