a lack of rear passenger space
This is totally true. I could never put both my ex-boyfriends in the car (unless I let one of them drive).
On the other hand, that... doesn't come up much.
But my Michigan peeps do seem to be unnaturally tall. I'm not much of a chauffeur usually, though, so too bad!

You know why I laugh and laugh at this. Mostly cause my life is so very opposite. :)
Your first road trip should be to come up here and stay in our guest room for a couple of days over spring break. IJS.
Across-the-hall Teacher thinks my spring break trip should be to California. I know people in too many places!
On the other hand, if I went with "guys I've messed around with a bit," the odds of them being all in one place shoot way up. They're mostly in Michigan, and they're mostly tall. "Yes, Michigan!"
I never had vaccinations at school. We just had to get them done at our regular doctor and then bring to the school nurse a form that said that we'd gotten them.
When I started grad school, the requirement was that everyone under 26 or something had to have had certain vaccinations in order to register for classes. One of the required ones was chicken pox. I'd never gotten the chicken pox vaccine because it came out when I was already in middle school or high school, and I had chicken pox when I was 4. I ended up having to get my pediatrician's office to find my old file and have them fax the records over to my grad school. (The other option was getting a blood test to show that I had the antibodies, or just getting the chicken pox vaccine even though I didn't need it.)
I had whooping cough a few years ago, even though I was vaccinated for that one -- the vaccine can wear off. That was horrible -- I spent about a week feeling like I could barely breathe. Plus, coughing hard enough that some blood vessels in my throat burst and I coughed up some blood. I cannot imagine having to be a kid and get that.
Yeah, the rubella one can wear off, too. I had to get mine redone after Lillian was born.

My right ass cheek hurts like hell!
t /random
I take it by the random tags that the sore ass cheek is not due to receiving a vaccination in your sitter, GC.
Maybe she was ass-dialing.
Was it here that we were talking about the article saying that students think that they should get good grades for effort? One of my students asked me yesterday, "What should we do if we work really really hard on a problem and still get it wrong?"
