I don't think that anything I don't get injected makes me woozy anymore--not in prescription amounts, anyway. Thankfully I got the ER to put my dilaudid dosage back up to 6mg per dose--but it still took 12mg and a Tramadol to get rid of the last headache. I was clear for days, though! It was marvellous. Straight through from Thursday until now.
'Beneath You'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
ita, are you able to sleep at all? I'm so sorry that no one has been able to come up with anything that truly helps you.
are you able to sleep at all?
Only with Ambien CR. The insomnia's particularly insidious.
I'm so sorry that no one has been able to come up with anything that truly helps you.
Thanks. The current regimen of meds leaves many of my headaches more susceptible to Imitrex, so my ER visits are cut almost in half, so that's a big positive. Still, too much.
Tomorrow is my friend's birthday and I forgot to call her and I sent her an email but that's not the same. I'm a bad friend and she's moving to Cleveland and that's a bad plan.
Ow. This isn't enough to make it stop hurting, and I'm at the max dosage.
Andy cat has decided we should never leave the house without him again -- He is now sleeping in one of the bags we took this weekend.
Sorry, you are hurting,Hil.
Best wishes for painless and restful sleep tonight, Bitches.
Sleep is not happening.
I made an appointment at student health for tomorrow. I know they can't do much for chronic pain, but maybe they can at least get me a better ankle brace, since this one is kind of collapsing.
Tamiflu-assisted greetings. I am definitely feeling better. I'm well enough to stress at The Girl for the mess the kitchen's got into while I've been too ill to go there. So I must be improving.
Erk, Hil - pain affecting sleep is not good. I hope student health can help. Good splints are a pain preventative, for me - I hope they do the same for you.
ita, here's wishing you good sleep and no migraines.
Tramadol gave me the worst headaches (and vomiting) so I only had it a few months. It's a great drug if it doesn't make you sick, though.
Irish wheaten bread, toasted (am actually eating this for breakfast).
What is it with potential personal care assistants? They come for interview. They seem enthusiastic. I offer them a job. They accept job. Then later I talk to them again, e.g. to ask for references, and they tell me they've changed their mind and they're unable to accept the job after all.
Am I coming across as that much of a scary potential employer? It really is a great job - I pay well, it's part-time hours for people who have other commitments, and it's mainly really easy work. So weird.
