Yeah, I'll admit to being a nag. I bribed him into taking the advil, which had been sitting in front of him for an hour, by promising to go out and let him sleep. I'm hiding out at the bookstore now.
'Origin'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
TCG is sick and also the worst patient ever. He won't drink his juice or take his meds. When did I lose a boyfriend and gain a 5 year old?
When did he lose a girlfriend and gain a Mommy? "Here's some juice. Here's your meds. You can have the remote." Yer done.
Wow, I'd be meaner than that. "You don't want to take your meds? Then don't. But don't whine to me about continuing to feel shitty."
Is TCG one of those people who won't take medication, no matter what? I had a roommate like that -- not only would she not take meds, she wouldn't even take vitamins, and looked askance at me for taking antidepressants, antibiotics when I was sick, ibuprofen when I had cramps, etc.
Now she's married to a doctor. Let him deal with her weird stoic ways.
No, he's not that bad. He just never had anyone really fuss over him as a kid, and sort of sucks at taking care of himself when he's sick, or letting anyone else take care of him.

Awww, poor TCG. (That's not sarcastic.)

Happy birthday, Empress! May it be a royally magnificent day!
TCG is running a slight fever but otherwise seems to be feeling better. My throat is starting to itch. I don't want the ick.
happy birthday, Empress!
You need to talk to him about this when he isn't sick, sj. Expectations are hard to explain when soe one isn't feeling well.
