Mmmm, kidnapped Vikings...
While at first i felt bad for her, by the end i was pretty annoyed at how much time and resources she has already wasted. Now i'll not feel all that bad if she gets slapped with a huge fine. Sheehsh. Who commits a double infraction then calls the cops on themselves?
I am, as one of them taxpayer, always offended at things like this. ( I am also offended when corporations can reduce their taxes beyond what is logical. I am equal op hating. )
I am also highly twitchy on this because of the recent crash. I'd like the fallout for my insurance co to be as low as possible. Not because of what I pay, but because it's stupid to waste money, no matter whose money it is.
This? This is my biggest pet peeve of what is wrong in this country and this world. People are greedy and think things are free just as long as *they* aren't paying for them linearly.

Wow, is that a weird spotlight question.
As well as the one baseball question that would puzzle Keith Olbermann. What? Yes, I've got a fixation, but at least I'm not a Twihard.
(I did consider that maybe it should be a whiny, drug-problem-having one. So long as I don't have to adopt him, True Blood-style.)
Oh man, morning, board.
My FAC believed they (and the Scots, who came from Ireland - that part at least is true) were the lost tribe of Dan. On account of all the places with d_n in the name (Donegal, Dunedin etc). The French were Reuben, while England and America were Joseph's sons; so France is perennially pissed off with the Anglo nations, as they were the firstborn, dammit, but the Anglo-Americans got all the historical props.
One of the tribes was Belgium too. I don't remember which, which is just like Belgium.
Thanks for reminding me Nationalism has further, deeper roots.
Eh, why not. I'm just full of love right now.
Mmm, dirty.
Look -- all these old friends showing up!
I'll sit in the love corner.
and e_o , you capped off my day -- dispatch stories of the crazies that cal are 1) funny and 2) remind that there are many layers of crazy I can't touch.
Mmm, dirty.
golly, I meant it in a loving way. Eh. It's bitches.
BTW, at the end of the day, I got the dirty version of DH. Duh! Wow, I must have had a lot on my mind.
OK, it's 12:30 my time. I'm going to make an attempt to sleep, 3-4 hours earlier than I usually do.
Best of luck to you and Fluffy!
As a half-Irish Bible semi-believer, I'd LOVE to know the verse that relates this little tidbit.
Discerning Anglo-Irish liberal Christians want to know, too, so we do. (Mainly so I can point and mock, of course.)
Thanks for reminding me Nationalism has further, deeper roots.
The British did nationalism first and we do it best.
When?
Since about King Ethelred... (But it was a joke.)
