I know, right? Also possibly ruggedly cute gay rugby players, as there are matches in town at the same time we are slated to have our soft opening. Plus, Fleet Week will be a blast. Plus plus, I have a couple friends who work in the area already. Is very exciting.
Thank you all for your congratulations - this is showing up right before my CA unemployment is slated to run out, so it's a giant load off of my mind. Also, since SF has mandated that all restaurant workers be insured, I can afford health insurance again. Thank all the fishes.

In non-job news, I a) sent the revised manuscript off to Madame Agent of Awesomeness and b) am making red beans and rice and my house smells fabulous. And now that it's raining and storming and all rumbly outside, it's a perfect day for some spicy food.
Thoughts and ~ma that Agent of Awesomeness loves the revision and thinks she can get me a fabulous deal would be much appreciated.

So I seem to have a maybe kind of sort of but we haven't called it that date to see Moon tomorrow with a really cute woman I like a lot from work.
And tentative plans to visit the Museum of Jurassic Technology some time soon. It's one of my favorite places in LA. She's never been there, and I think she's exactly the kind of person who will really dig it.
