Occasionally I'm callous and strange.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I really admire the way you confront these issues in a calm and direct manner, it takes guts.

Ha! I'm thinking of some of my conversations with people over the last week. They were less than calm! But, today's was calm, and I wasn't even nervous. I think I made peace with walking away if necessary, and then it just all happened how it was going to happen. It was really amazing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I like the chopsticks they have at PF Changs. Plus, if you shove 'em in your purse while nobody's looking, they're free!

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm reminded of all the times in my life I have built up in my brain some big confrontation/altercation/issue that I dreaded would happen, only to have the whole thing dissipate after I decided to bite the bullet and do it.

I still do it, but I'm getting better at not building things up.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Balls. As I suspected, my car failed the smog check for the same reason it failed in August. The fuckers who fixed it to make it pass didn't actually fix the problem; I just paid $200 to bribe them, I guess. Probably another $200 to get it fixed today. Or "fixed," for all I know. Now I really wish I'd padded the asking price more.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Plus, if you shove 'em in your purse while nobody's looking, they're free!

That's true about a lot of things.

Or so I've heard.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

he he ... remember the discussion of "earring magic" Ken? He's back.

brillig

It's going to be in the 40s this weekend. Bright sunshine, snow melting--and snowstorms next week. I suspect the region is suffering from "Let it just be spring already, dammit!" syndrome.

“Not dead yet!”

I think I met that guy on South Beach a few years back.

In that outfit.

Ok. I have to write a one-page summary of Buffy (the show in general and why I think people cared) for a professor. There's too much to say!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, pick one reason and write about that. Otherwise, you're going to end up with much too much information.

I was supposed to spend the afternoon with a friend and her 6 month old baby, but the baby is sick. I suppose that means I should be cleaning for the family get together tomorrow...
