I think that there's something in my eye.
Team's Gesture Supports Grieving Opponent
'Get It Done'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Dammit, now there's something in my eye.
God, me too.
What a great story. Just when you start hating on humanity, something like this happens.
Reminds me of the story of the high school girl who hit a home run, but then twisted her ankle and couldn't run the bases. It would have been illegal for her teammates to help her, so the opposing team helped her around the bases instead.
Yes! I knew it reminded me of something. That was also a great story. Oh, high school sports. There are never stories this adorable in professional sports, are there?
Well, there was the football player who would have caught this game-winning pass, sending his team to the playoffs, except he stopped to let a family of ducklings cross the field....
We'd better ALL get a good night's sleep tonight. SERIOUSLY.
A-freakin'-men.
Especially since I have gone to work out and have had a healthy salad. I shall now take a shower and work and tonight, there will be SLEEP.
Dammit, now there's something in my eye.
Me too. Doggone it.

Yes, I had allergies for that one.
I guess if you've been taught the game -- you understand what gestures are all about. Nice to see.
I'm sorry there were so many bad nights and bad mornings. And places where yelling is more traumatic than it has to be. DH grew up in a house where words ( or silence ) were weapons. I was lucky - I grew up in a house where words were for communication. Now we did have the New England ignore the elephant in the room problems -- bu tI think they are easier to learn to over come.
