And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

“Not dead yet!”

What a Great Boy you have, Steph. He knows you oh, so well!

Hey. New board.

I just skipped a lot, and read the last 50 posts. This is what I have learned:

1) "pho" can be used in just about any situation. However, based only on the last 50 posts I don't know exactly what it is. (Don't tell me, I'll wikipedia momentarily.)

2) Kristin and Drew apparently have a puppy. Or will. That seems to be in need of ~ma. I give you puppy~ma! My puppy appears to be heading rapidly towards adulthood (he lifted his leg to pee today rather than hitting his foot! At least in the morning.) so I have some to spare. (I will read Beep Me momentarily too, if more information is there.)

3) Chi-Kat may be going to a new school near Kathy A. Cool. I approve of Buffistas moving closer to each other.

4) Steph had an awesome cake, an even awesomer carrot-loving candle, and a carrot-ADORING BF who made it all happen.

Did I miss anything?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I often suspected Batman might be flaming.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hey. New board.

Oh noes K&ND's puppy! Be better.

(I read Beep Me.)

(Now I go back to reviewing the not-so-subtle-but-that's-okay-I-kinda-asked-for-it "These are rings I like" document Improbable Girl left on her laptop).

(She likes aquamarines and yellow gold, with rough finishes, made by interesting artists. No diamonds. I can get behind that financially, politically, AND aesthetically.)

That which does not kill you should RUN

Did you have a good birthday?

For the most part, I did. I mean, I had to work, when I'd rather sleep in and eat bon-bons in bed. And I was on day 2 of a headache that wasn't quite sinus, wasn't quite migraine, wasn't quite tension. Strange.

But other than that, it was good. We went out to dinner with a group of friends, and The Boy brought the cake (and the Batman candle).

When I came home from work, his computer monitor was wrapped in birthday paper, with a bow on it.

"You're...giving me your computer monitor for my birthday?" I asked.

What he had ordered for my birthday hadn't shipped yet, so he pulled up the Web page and then wrapped the monitor. Dork. I love him.

Anyway, this is what was on the monitor: [link] Oh, yeah.

Hey. New board.

... I think that gift may be as much for him as for you, Steph.

Or possibly I just have an apron fetish.

(HOT!)

And related to my present, I feel that I need to draw Jilli's attention to this one: [link] Hot pink and black! Skulls!

Our wings are not tired.

Teppy, that is so cute and creative of him to wrap the monitor!

I asked for an apron, though not a particular pattern.

Or possibly I just have an apron fetish.

And, well, yeah, I asked for it in no small part b/c of fetish-y reasons, which are indeed as much for him as for me.
