'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hi. Awake too. Head hurts.

Well, it is now awake time here. Blergh

Eep, Stephanie! Already? Isn't it...um....not yet 5AM there?? That ain't right!

I should be going to sleep, but after hanging out at the (ridiculously crowded) bar playing scrabble and drinking, we decided we were hungry, and went to IHOP. So now I am full of pancakey goodness.

But my eyes are sleepy and I think it's my bedtime. After all, I have to actually talk to my boss tomorrow. And I have an interview Thursday, so I should be prepping for that...

Well, since I'm up, I'm sending you a long-overdue email, Stephanie. Thanks for looking at it when you get a chance.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Omnis, I hope you got a better hotel room—for tomorrow, if not in time for tonight.

wv, I'm glad you're home, sans migraine.

Hello insomniac bitches! I've been waking up in the middle of the night for the past few nights, too. The cat won't let me get up to post until 6 am, though. Fuzzy tyrant.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Omnis, I hope you got a better hotel room—for tomorrow, if not in time for tonight.

My advice for Omnis:

10 GOTO 40
20 PRINT "Complain"
30 GOTO 10
40 PRINT "Complain"
50 GOTO 20

REM Use ^C when NEWROOM = 1

(not technically right, and a bit redundant, but the first part could have been left on dos machines at KMart in the 80's. If a person was of a mind.)

ita, I hope you are sleeping but I responded to your email.

And meara, we are an hour ahead of east coast time (although we don't do daylight savings) so I think it was about 5:50. Still, too early after not having slept all night.

“Not dead yet!”

I woke up at 4:30, convinced that the alarm was about to go off. Then never got back to sleep, waiting for six, when the alarm did go off.

Feh.

Librarian Warlord

I hope that vw and CBD are getting some pain-free sleep, somewhere comfortable.

Welcome to DC, omnis! Sorry I won't be able to join in the hoopla today!

I was up at 4:30 and couldn't get back to sleep because I was getting kicked from the inside and the husband and dog were both snoring. At least I got some uninterrupted reading time.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Daniel, you crack me up. Luckily I did enough stuff on a trash-80 that I recognize (most) what you typed.

I was too tired to complain to desk last night. After stuffing the cracks with towels swiped from the exercise room, the place warmed up. I'm actually fresh out of the shower nakie and not cold, so, can't be that bad. That said, I will complain while en route to free continental breakfast. Thankfully, I didn't unpack too much.

ION, I just got an e-mail from cute gal that I had the "library date" with. She's been rather unresponsive since then, and I thought it was me. Not uncommon, sad to say. Turns out when she said she got a "earth shaking" phone call, it meant she got a job offer in Virginia, and was figuring out what she wanted to do. She's taking the job. :( Sure, I finally work up the nerve to ask a cute gal out, and we seem to be hitting it off a bit, and she moves on me. Luck? If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

OK, off to get dressed, eat, move, and meet Hil at Air & Space Museum!
